Summary
I’ve always been fascinated by the sea. The mysterious, deadly waves that hold wonders beyond our comprehension. It is one of the reasons I went into my chosen career path, deep-sea fishing. Which is one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. Yet, despite this fact I never thought anything would actually happen. I was on a safe ship with a very skilled crew after all.
Nature doesn’t care about such things, as disaster struck. I didn’t expect to live when I fell into those icy depths, yet somehow I managed to. For once it made me glad I was forced into Girl Scouts as a kid. Though those simple survival skills definitely didn’t prepare me for half of the things I would encounter.
