Summary
It is 2001; two years after the reunion of Will Byers and Mike Wheeler. The once-best friends have lived together ever since, now openly a couple and happier than ever. However, life is not without its challenges.
Burdened with powerful psychic abilities, Will devotes much of his time to mastering himself. Mike is his rock in these personal trials, with their bond having grown into something truly unbreakable. Unfortunately, both men remain troubled by past regrets, blaming themselves for toils long past.
Eager to destress with loved ones, they prepare to set out on a camping trip to the east coast in celebration of Mike's 30th birthday. Elder siblings, Nancy and Jonathan, are the ones to provide the means via their new RV, while Max comes along for the ride. And a special guest accompanies the group in the form of Mike's college roommate, Dan Hallenbeck.
