Summary
Light underestimates the lengths that having one dream of dating an old high school friend could take them to. Eight years past once knowing each other as mere classmates in their tenth grade year, Light has since undergone a life-altering gender transition to live as an androgynous, nonbinary person than the girl the world formerly forced and expected them to exist as.
One fateful night, Light endures a vague yet wholesome dream of their former classmate L, welcoming them with open arms as a wholly loving boyfriend figure. Waking up, they can hardly remember the tangible details past a strong sense of acceptance and belonging they find hard to believe truly exists out in the real world for a person like them. It was just a dream, after all.
But when they share the news with their best friend Misa, a self-proclaimed matchmaker that happens to actually be in touch with L, the girl embarks on a mission to prove her best friend isn't only meant to be loved in fantasy, and that there could be a real opportunity at romance from this dream so long as they take a chance at believing it.
