It was a regular day at the animal hospital
Decently busy
Not quiet , but not loud yk?
Head nurse was out for lunch while nurse handled the other patients as secretary checked in
"Hey. I'd like to check in as a patient"
"Alright let me just stamp your forms!"
Secretary said as he stamped the forms

The picture machine beeped secretary didn't look at the photo
Agent watched his mal practice
*He'll at least check the cams right? *
Secretary registered him in and s
" ylamona suoivbo here's your badge!"

He said handing it to them until
BANG
"Ek!" Secretary yelped jumping behind the counter
The anomaly dropped dead on the floor as agent blew the smoke off his gun
He was originally on top of the soda machine last time secretary checked
But now he was hanging upside down from one of the roof pipes
His bright yellow eyes staring at him coldly with a sense of annoyance
He dropped off the pipe landing smoothly on two feet
(Kinda like a spider man pose)
"Heeeyyyyy agenttt!" Secretary said nervously
Agent was much taller so he was standing over him
His yellow eyes shooting daggers at him
"Why didn't you check the cams?"
Agent said coldly
"I-i uhm-"
"They aren't broken now are they." He said intimidatingly
"I-i I promise I'll check nex-"
"Agent! What did I say about scaring people!"
A warm voice called out
"Ugh him again" agent muttered under his breath
"What?" He said his head turning towards intern sharply
"Stop scaring him!"
"I'm not, I'm telling him to check cams"
He said coldly
"Because He didn't check cams?"
"..."
"That is mal-practice secretary..." Intern admitted to him
"What if he let an anomaly in and someone got hurt again?"
"You mean me?" Intern flutters his eyes and makes a kissy face at him
"Oh shut up" agent blushed pushing intern back lightly
Really because intern was teasing him , knowing he wanted that kiss
They were secretly a thing , like dating
"Well look I'm tired and head nurse kept hogging the coffee machine"
Suddenly they heard mutilple roars from the hallway
Secretary gave a nervous shrug
Agent shot a sharp gaze to secretary
And a softer one to intern but still sharp
Agent slid out into the corridor
About 4 anomalies coming straight at him
Agent swung his gun up and yelled"OVER HERE CHUMPS!"
immediately all of the anomalies attention snapped to agent
Who was grinning ear to ear knowing this was gonna be good
The anomalies started getting closer and intern didn't worry he knew agent was skilled in that
Agent using the wall jumped off and round house kicked one and shot it after
(just in case)
Then he looked towards the other 2 still standing
One lunged at agent
Agent ducked and slid under the anomaly shooting it in the stomach
And the last one he hadn't exactly looked at
Off who knew anomalies could be jacked? Agent almost felt sorry killing a guy with such muscles
But he shot him in the head a soft thud on the floor after
He grinned again as he turned around blowing the smoke off his gun
"Did ya see the buff fella?"
"We're really glad to have you around agent"
"Thanks, but it's my job"
"Looks like fun"
"Dangerous fun" agent said pulling up his arm to show his long grey/black glove and a small scratch
"What's with the gloves"
Agent needed a lie and quick
"Oh they help me grip my gun that all"
Intern gave him that look that meant he was going to ask him later about it
"Oh alright" secretary replied back
"Ooo how do they help? I don't see any grips?" Intern said too him with a fake curiosity
Agent say through the fake curiosity easily
Intern picked up agents hand
(technically paw but intern does know)
Even the slightest touch from intern made agents stomach turn with butterflies
But he couldn't let intern know he was winning
He remained expressionless
Intern kept pushing his buttons
"They just work."
Agent said , retaining his calm
"Oh alright...oh agent what did I tell you about your collar it's not folded right!"
Intern immediately reached up towards agents neck and took WAY to long of a look, gently breathing into agents neck so he could feel it
While he "fixed it" (which was really just him drawing lines along agent's neck subtly)
agent was trying to not move he had a strong ego and he wasn't gonna intern ruin it
Agent felt shivers up his neck every time interns fingers brushed by his neck and he felt interns mouth get closer
He couldn't say anything he just had to stand still
Until he looked down to intern barely audible
"Stop teasing me." He said sharply but inaudible if you weren't as close as Intern
Secretary looked at the cams one last time and looked back towards them
Intern just laughed and off
Agent rubbed the spot on his where intern had been near
Agent then shot a look towards secretary
and walked off back to his post
