Chapter Text
All citizens of Ninjago, after years of these creatures living in our mists, we finally have the power to put our foot down and prevent these scum from pretending they are worthy to live our lives.
They are creatures, not humans. They have no rights to the human life style. Therefore, any right not stated for half humans shall hereby not exist for the monsters in the Hybrids Rights section. Moving forward, all Hybrids must be brought in and numbered and split up from their family groups. If there are any threats to humans while bringing them in, the soldiers will have no choice but to end them. If they try to resist, worst fates will come their way. After being brought in and numbered, they shall be auctioned off for slaves. Any form of punishment allowed.

Running, the hybrid mother wrapped her freathery wings around the floppy eared baby. She dashed down the streets sticking to the shadows but the soldiers were already on a move to destroy all she had ever loved. She couldn't fly or she'd be shot down, like she'd seen other bird hybrids go out.
The child in her arms whimpered as she darted back and forth, trying to weave her way through the chaos and destruction littering the streets of the capital. Soldiers were breaking down doors, dragging hybrids by their tails, chaining them up and putting them inside cell cars.
Screams and and wails filled the air as she tried to stay out of sight. Smoke rose high from fires starting here and there. The acidic smell of blood crowded her nostrils and made her head feel light. Her baby wiggled in her arms confused why he had to be yanked out of his crip so late at night. The only way to alluminate her path was the flickering street lights, fires, and the stars and moon diseperaring behind the clouds.
She dropped into a crouch narrowly avoiding a chain swing her way and rolled down into the next street. Doing all in her power to ignore a step that was slippery, but not with water. With blood that stained her brown boots a darker shade. Non hybrids were watching from the safety of their homes as her people were attacked like they were monsters. Little children being held up by their parents as they couldn't see the chaos on their own. Yet the Hybrid mother felt no hate to the families, only to the Emperor and the ones who followed his rule.
He was a tyrant before this, and the mother couldn't even imagine it getting any worse. Yet here she was darting down the streets with her child in her arms at the middle of the night.
If she could just make it down that one alley way that led out of the city...
A force knocked her to the ground and she wrapped her wings tightly around the bundle in her arms. She could not lose her child, her little boy. Not to men trying to break down her last reason to live.
"What do we have here," snorted a tall guard with his sword pointed at her head. His nose was crooked like it had been broken one to many times, his cracked lips were brought up into a sneer revealing crooked uneven teeth. "Drop whatever you have and maybe I won't knock ya' about before turning you in."
The mother sat up, trying not to shake, she slid her feet across the tilled ground and clutched her sons head. "Please," she whimpered pulling her wings down a bit to reveal her child. "Just let us go. No one has to know."
"That would be betryn' our dear Emperor now wouldn't it? I can't do that." He lunged forward and grabbed the baby by its floppy brown ears before the mother could react, yanking him with a vice-like grip out of her arms.
"NO!" She exclaimed lunging for her child before getting kicked in the chest back to the ground with his steeled boot pressing her firmly down on her chest. She would say she could feel her ribs creaking if she wasn't so numb from horror.
"Please," she begged tears flowing in sink with the child who was now wailing its head off being held by its ears. "Not him! He is all I have. Please no! He is just a baby!"
"Baby?" The guard snarled like a true hybrid. "Its no baby. Its a monster. Look at the ears and fuzzy widdle' tail. Its a devil no doubt. No devil can be a baby."
Shifting his grip on the child he brought it into his arms before pulling out a small knife.
The hybrid mother's eyes widened. "NO!" She squirmed harder her wings beating tiressly against the legs of the soldier. "NO!!!"
Helpless she watched as he brought the knife to the ear he was holding out, eyes glinting cruely through the mask, and he sliced off the left ear in a slow, painful sawing motion.
The baby wails grew into shrieks of agony, and the mother gasped in horror as blood sprayed into her own mouth. The blood of her child, the blood of an innecont little child. A literal baby.
"Now come along easily or the other ear comes off to." He dropped the tiny floppy ear next to her face. "Your scum. Below us. You can never, ever escape what you deserve. Bow down to your masters while you still have both feet. Give up now; quit."
