Rocky finds the vodka and is so curious about humans intoxication. He makes Grace drink it and Rocky makes observations at different stages. Nothing that Grace gets noticeably touchier, lets words fly that Rocky has never heard before.
Rocky liked this version of Grace, he’s looser, less anxious, more bold, and actually funny to Rocky. Rocky loves the person he met but this version of Grace is one he wouldn’t mind seeing more often. He almost seems younger, too.
He gets Grace anything he wants because he’s also curious about why Grace would want xyz thing, he listens to Grace talk about his college days and how this was different, but more importantly, he discovers Grace’s inhibitions are lowered significantly when drunk.

He lets Grace sleep it off (and takes care of him through the hangover) and waits for him to bring up the confession. Little does he know how alcohol affects human memory. So, Grace goes on like normal and Rocky is confused. Was Grace lying? Finally he confronts Grace a week later.
He asks Grace why he they haven’t talked about how he feels and Grace freezes. He feels caught, he didn’t know he was that obvious. Rocky elaborates about Grace’s drunken confession and everything clicks into place. Why Rocky had been acting a little different.
He apologizes and tells Rocky he thought it was a dream where he confessed, but he does feel what he said for Rocky. Rocky is overjoyed, doing jazz hands and chittering. He pins Grace down and reciprocates his feelings, loving the way Grace heats and his face flushes.
All it took was a little vodka, a science experiment and time for them to confess. (Also Rocky asks if he can get Grace drunk again to make him loose again and Grace is so shocked and horny he can’t speak)
