   Summary

   Shane is left with a spinal cord injury after a catastrophic team event, and now he is left to rebuild a life that he hadn't really even started to begin with.

   Told through Shane’s therapy sessions and the memories he refuses to face, the story follows grief, survivor’s guilt, rehab, and the slow realization that finding a way forward into his new reality may also mean finding a way back to Ilya—even when neither of them knows what that path is supposed to look like anymore.
