   Summary

Arthur nodded gravely and looked over at Merlin who somehow looked worse than he did seconds ago. "Ok, so he's cursed, but Gaius, you still haven't told me exactly what's wrong. What's wrong with him? How do we help him?"

Gaius, mildly shocked at how quickly he moved on from the fact that magic was involved and straight to Merlin's wellbeing, got straight to the point. "He will experience… vampyrism for the next lunar cycle, sire."

   or

Merlin is cursed with vampyrism and Arthur looks after him while they go on a quest with the knights (Leon is left in Camelot to guard Uther).
