    Slade Victor Finnegan Herschel. At least he remembers his name. Beyond reasonably measurable time, he's been in "The Arena" as a prize betting horse for Oberon, king of the Spring and Summer courts. The Arena is a massive hunting grounds, where Arcadians, Goblin Kings, and Fairy Lords all come to place their own changelings or huntsmen to compete in the grounds for glory, for bragging rights, or because getting a boon from the Fairy King of a court was immeasurably valuable. Though, sometimes beings were simply bored and threw their "property" in. All Slade wanted to do was to remain himself, to not give in to Oberon's unfair, infinitesimal torment. Luckily, the Wyrd, Arcadia, finally decided to give him a chance for escape.
