Summary
Starscream already died once.
Born without a spark in a world where the spark is the source of mana, he grew up unable to cast magic, use enchanted artifacts, or form the familiar contract expected of nearly every Cybertronian. Mocked by his family, abused by servants, humiliated at the Academy, and eventually turned into the villain everyone expected him to become, his first life ended in ruin.
Then Starscream wakes up years in the past.
He still has no spark. No magic. No familiar.
But this time, he has the Bestiary.
A strange ability that reveals information about beasts, mechanimals, and familiars—but only as Starscream observes, studies, sketches, and researches them himself.
So Starscream makes a plan. Not to become powerful. Not to defeat the heroine or steal a romantic target.
He only wants to survive his inevitable exile.
His handmade notebook is supposed to become his retirement fund.
Unfortunately, when the only sparkless student at the Academy becomes the person everyone trusts with their familiars, quietly disappearing from the story may become much harder than expected.
