“Lord Orbitan, god of cycles, twin of Kairos, I offer you incense and jewels, for the past you’ve helped me with, and for the request I ask for this day-”
“O Xaos, god of chaos, twin of Vex, hear my words-”
“Kairos, I pray to thee-”
“Orbitan, god of the seasons and time-”
“Lord Xaos, brother of Vex-”
“Kairos, god of change and chance, twin of Orbitan, please accept these candles and-”
“Lord Kairos, I pray to you, god of change and brother of Orbitan-”
“O Vex, god of chaos, twin to Xaos-”

“So..?” Vex hummed, a mischievous expression on his face.
“What?” Xaos raised a brow.
“How many prayers did you get today, duh,” Vex rolled his bright white eyes.
“As Xaos I got like.. A hundred, as Orbitan I got around three hundred, I think?”
“Ugh, why do you always get more?” Vex complained. “I got a total of one-fifty-three. Only one hundred-fifty-three! Can you believe that?”
“With how annoying you are? Pft, sure,” Xaos snickered.
Vex promptly elbowed him in the arm.
“Hey!” Xaos whined.
“That was deserved! Very just, I bet Justice would agree with me!” Vex defended himself, a grin plastered on his face.
Somewhere in the distance another deity shouted at them to not bother Justice. And because they were smart, they didn’t. Especially not when they were trying to not get on their bad side, as their recent Judgement Days were uhm. Harsh, you could say.
Still, the twin gods continued to mess with each other. As long as they didn’t involve anyone else, there were no limits. Oh and also try to avoid mortals getting in the crossfire, but they weren’t too worried about that. You certainly couldn’t deny how they were gods of chaos.

“Okay, hold on for a second,” Egg said.
The seraphim was sitting down, elbows on his desk and one hand cupped over the other. Then after a few moments he buried his face into his hands and let out a silent sigh. “You’re telling me that you have a twin?” He murmured in disbelief.
“Mhm,” Wemmbu shrugged. The god was much more laid back; his legs hanging off the left arm of the couch he was half sitting half laying on.
“Are they also a god?” Egg asked.
“Yeah,” Wemmbu nodded.
“Of what-?”
“Chaos and change.”
“..Intresting,” Egg said quietly, looking at Wemmbu once more. “So you share a domain, and then have opposite domains?”
“Basically,” Wemmbu yawned. “Not many people want change though, so I tended to get more prayers than him. He complained about it every time.”
“Who’s older-?” Egg queried.
“Him, by like two hours,” Wemmbu snorted.
“Are you identical or fraternal?”
“Fraternal; our colors are kinda inverted in a way,”
“Inverted… So he has more green-?”
“Mhm,” Wemmbu nodded lightly. “You’ve met like.. Once, three years ago or something.”
“Damn, Zam Empire time?” Egg’s eyes widened.
“Yeah, he was the one who told us to destroy uh…” Wemmbu thought for a moment, “The valley area if I remember correctly.”
“..Boosfer?” Egg gaped.
“Yep,” Wemmbu grinned. “His god names are Vex and Kairos, by the way.”
Egg buried his face in his hands again, muttering, “Why can I see it though??”
Wemmbu just laughed even more, slumping onto the couch further to be fully laying on it.

You want to know something kind of funny? Despite Wemmbu and Boosfer being twins, they don’t share a birthday. Boosfer happened to be born before midnight, while Wemmbu was after. He acted like it made him years older, or something.
There were definitely times where Wemmbu acted more mature, however. Sometimes they both did, sometimes they both equally messed around. It really did depend on what was going on that week.
And in all honesty, the two of them having each other helped in more ways than one. It gave them someone to run away to, someone to gossip with, someone to protect and hide behind, someone to create or break things with, and a lot more. Their bond was obvious, even if they annoyed each other a lot. Well, more so whenever Boosfer ragebaited Wemmbu- he didn’t do it too often anymore, because it’d just been a few bad months for Wemmbu recently.
That was another thing, actually. They knew when to back off. They didn’t even need to say it out loud. A change in posture, a flicker of an expression, or their tail lashing in a certain way. They were great at nonverbal communication.
Also, yes, Boosfer’s temples were abandoned and his followers were in hiding just like Wemmbu’s. No, he didn’t know why either. But, they had people they interacted with, were on good, neutral, and bad terms with, so it should be fine. And, they had each other.
Oh- no one besides Wemmbu (and by extension Egg) knew of Boosfer’s divinity either. He would have told people, but that would then kind of reveal Wemmbu, and Wemmbu was very firm on keeping his divinity hidden.
So. Regardless if one of them was crying or laughing, awake or asleep, normal or injured, they were together. They had been since birth, they had for most of his godhood, and they still stayed connected even when in mortal form far away from one another.
Their whispers to the wind chimes kept their words close, anyways.
