Chapter Text
It was a Tuesday noon in the Animal hospital and Intern was currently treating a patient with strong bleeding from the patients forearm.
But because they were not as experienced as others in the hospital, they didn't know how to properly stop and bandage the bleeding.
That's why they rushed out of the room the patient was in and in panic they quickly scaned the hall for anyone that could help him treat the patient correctly.
Everyone was busy with their own work.
Secretary was checking in patients who needed help, Security was making sure no anomaly gets past the check in, Nurse was helping an eldery bird with dried eyes and Head Nurse was currently operating in room 8.
And Dr. Harlow? who knows....
The only person in the building that didn't have much going on was Seceret Agent.
Although he was slowly walking trough the halls, his eyes sharply focusing on every single move anyone did, his back perfectly straight, he was the only one who could help Intern with their problem.
-Hey, umm Seceret Agent, could you um help me with a minor issue?
Intern said looking right towards the black cat who was no more than 10 steps away.
Seceret Agent calmly focused his gaze to room 4 while slowly walking towards the door, where Intern stood looking nervous as hell.
When Seceret Agent closed the door behind him and saw the young-looking dog bleeding from its forearm, he carefully inspected it for a bit.
-Please get me some bandages . Quick.
As soon as the words left his mouth, Intern was already rushing to get the bandages as Seceret Agent told them to.
Seceret Agent didn't talk much. But when he did, Intern felt as if he was very angry for some reason.
It just sounded like it.
When Intern returned with three bandages he passed them to Secered Agent that started neatly wrapping the dogs forearm with almost disgusing and unreal precision in the bandages.
Intern was watching Seceret Agent to do it the whole time so they knew how to do it next time by themself.
Seceret Agent was done in less than a minute and let the patient rest for a bit before letting them walk out of the hospital.
-Wow you are really good at this Seceret Agent.
Intern said as they watched the patient slowly walking out from the doors of the room 4.
-I know, thanks....
Quietly Agent said as he was cleaning up the mess the blood made from the hospital bed.
-*wait what?... he can actually speak? I lowkey tought he couldn't.. whatever....*
-Treating patients is obviously not my main role in this hospital, but I was forced into learning how to treat patients. I tought I'll never use it but turns out I actually do.
Agent looked at Intern
Intern could feel Seceret Agents gaze burning trough them. Their eyes met his. They felt like Seceret Agent was judging them by how he looked at them.
His sharp bright yellow eyes were looking dirrectly at theirs with no sign of a slightest emotion.
Intern thanked Seceret Agent for his help and went back to work.
-Wait.. Before you get back to work. If you need help again you can call me.
Said Agent with a sign of a micro hesitation
Wierd. Seceret Agent wasn't the type of guy who would say that...
Especially With hesitation that Intern clearly heard.
-*Maybe he is just being polite.*
Intern worked for the rest of the shift alone.
They had no more compications besides stepping into a blob of slime that someone didn't clean...
After closing the shift, everyone headed home.
Intern was the very last person to leave the hospital.
-*sigh...*
Intern went home too.
When they opened the door to the apartment they were so tired, no wonder they almost collapsed from exaustion.
Their apartment was a mess...
Dirt and mold everywhere including floors, cielings and walls. Stuff didin't have a place where it should be. Where Intern left it, there it just stayed.
The apartment had one singular room. The what so called bedroom. It was just a bed to if you wanted to get to you'd have to be skilled in parkour and jump over trash that filled the whole floor.
A small night stand stood besides the bed too. A small lamp that baically never shined collected dust from maybe half a year now.
They didn't need a kitchen, nor a bathroom.
After they sat down onto the bed they just stared into the wall. No toughts. No emotion. Just... staring.
After what felt like ages Intern finally passed out to a sleep.
