   Summary

   Ken frowned, claws drumming thoughtfully against the floorboards. Wifies had to be in there, and she and Wato had made sure all exits to their house were held in place with childproof locks, after the first time Wifies had tried to bolt. So in that much, they were safe.

   But it wasn’t fun, for Wifies to shut down like this. For any of them. Everything was going to be a struggle for the rest of the day, unless Ken did his job remarkably well, because Wifies would stay scared, and far, far too stubborn to admit it.
