    “Will you tell me what happened in your nightmare?” Naim smiles as Ryan’s eyes widen. “I figure this is about that, right? You haven’t talked about it, even though you… you know.” Naim looks down at his boyfriend’s chest, eyeing the large burn that had bubbled up. Ryan hadn’t told him exactly what happened yet, but Naim found him in the bathroom two nights ago nursing a new burn on both his chest and the palm of his hand, and Ryan’s refused to cuddle near the fireplace ever since. 

    “I don’t know if that’s a good idea, love. It was… dark.” Ryan swallows uncomfortably.

    “We’ve been through worse, Ry. Please?” Naim’s eyebrows tilt up, quietly begging Ryan with his eyes. Fuck those beautiful brown eyes.

     

    Or,
    Ryan had a nightmare two nights ago and accidentally hurt himself when he woke up. Naim still doesn't know what happened, but a little case of hypothermia seems to help Ryan open up.
