   Summary

Lieutenant Vachari takes the bag offered by the other officer and pulls out the cruel whip. Julien had not dared to hope for something better, but that does not stop his shudder seeing the nine tailed whip in the hands of the man. He cracks it once in the air, making eye contact with Julien and he grins cruelly at the sight of Julien’s flinch.

   --------

Military punishments are not an uncommon sight for those serving for the noble Sundered Houses. Julien deals with one first hand then bears the scars afterwards.
