A soft step, trails of smoke crossed the figure as if it were a demon fresh out of hell with the heat of hellfire still clinging to its toned muscles. Eyes that saw only him. Nothing else.
"Then I'll come home. I'll find you. I'll tie you up, and wipe every trace of your pride with your fucking screams."
A smile. He always smiled.
"You should run, baby boy."

Whenever Sieun found himself looking over at Suho, he noticed a disconnect in Suho's gaze towards whatever he was staring at. Squinted eyes searching aimlessly, rubbing at his temples the way he would when the migraines returned for another round, as if he was looking at something yet not seeing it.
He knew that Suho wasn't oblivious to it, and that Suho knew Sieun wouldn't be oblivious to it either.
It was a simple waiting game to see how long Suho would let it go on for.
After Suho's vision starts to decline, he begins wearing glasses. Sieun isn't prepared for it in the slightest.

Sieun opened his mouth, but no sound came out. There was a huge lump in his throat.
“Mhm,” he managed to hum in response.He saw Suho’s eyes shift to the friends standing quietly behind him. All three were watching them silently. They were aware of the heavy atmosphere, and they stood there carefully, even controlling their breathing so as not to disturb the moment.
“Who are those behind you?”
“My friends,” Sieun said, his voice hoarse and faint. He felt like he could cry at any second. Could Suho see the tears forming in his eyes even from this distance?
“I’m glad,” Suho said, a faint smile appearing on his face. Sieun felt that he looked relieved.
His breath caught. The weight of the air around him pressed down on his lungs. He took short, broken breaths. Now he was smiling too.
Finally, he thought.
