Koro-sensei waved them off. "Now if everyone’s here-“
The door busted open from a hard kick, cutting Koro-sensei off.
A man in a nice suit stood there with a fierce look on his face. Next to him, a lovely lady in a white dress.
“Whoa.” Maehara breathed in awe.
Okajima got a nosebleed. “Who is the babe!?”
“Nice suit…” Okano noted with a mild blush.
Koro-sensei turned to face them properly. “Hello there! Can I help-“
“Father? Mother?” Everyone was surprised to hear Karma of all people be the one to sputter in surprise.
OR: It's Parents Day at Kunugigaoka Junior High and Karma had fully intended to go through it without ever informing his parents of the day. Unfortunatly, they find out and show up anyways.

"Hey Nagisa, what are you doing for Christmas?"
“Oh, I don’t celebrate Christmas anymore.”
The casual reply had been enough to stun the entire class to silence, heads snapping over to look at Nagisa with worry and shock.
OR: Nagisa happens to bring up that he doesn't celebrate Christmas, causing the entire class to fret. The reason isn't anything like what they think.
What can Nagisa say? He'd rather celebrate his boyfriend's birthday, that's all.

"Now that you mention it, it did not come up."

The vending machine hummed like it knew a secret.
Karma stood in the moonlit sliver of the school courtyard, sleeves rolled up, hands shaking. The silence of the mountain swallowed the world whole. A capsule bottle clinked inside his blazer pocket like a tiny bell tolling, sharp and ominous.
He popped the lid with his thumb.
"Nagisa," he had said, hours ago, leaning sideways over his desk like gravity had lost interest in him. "Ever feel like you're a fake person in a fake body, doing fake things?"
Nagisa didn’t answer. He just watched Karma's smile stretch too wide, too thin. Like a rubber band pulled before the snap.
