He didn't know how, or why, he was back, but it felt great to be out of that hellhole. He was ready to feel the sunlight hitting his face, the moon's glow lighting his eyes and even the rain pouring down on him.
What he wasn't ready for, were the horrible feeling that he hadn't felt in many years, rushing to meet him again. The numbness being carved into his bones, consuming him as the world around him changed, a new one came into view.
The pain came crashing harder than a sword being run through him.
Wilbur was fucking alive.

Or, Wilbur is revived and he has to learn how to live again before his own mind destroys him. At the same time, has to try to rebuild his relationship with his family and friends and maybe even find some solace in a certain duck hybrid.

He didn't care for the red string tied around his finger, leading him to someone he didn't even know. He refused to care about his soulmate, even after he met Wilbur Soot face to face. Quackity embarked on a mission to push Wilbur away as much as he possibly could. He would spit in the face of fate and have fun doing it.
He didn’t have a soulmate—he had a rival.

Filled with the desire of wanting to be wanted and tired of going home to an empty bed, Quackity finds himself landing in a new and exciting affair with a man who seems capable of setting the whole world on fire.
