Blitzø starts the video, and it turns out to not be the pageant itself but afterwards, at a meet and greet. The video taker’s in the crowd, holding their phone up high to get a good shot of the winner in the middle of everyone.
They’re pretty. A cute beaky smile, with that same circle of red that the robot had. Black circles on his cheeks, a mismatched striped fool’s cap. Their movements are clunky, but their smile is so wide, and when they catch sight of the video taker’s camera, they look straight at it and grin, pink eyes crinkling in the corners and buck teeth untouched from childhood.
He’s alive.

Blitzo was a shitty performer, he knew that. He wasn’t much help with Fizzarolli’s rehearsals, probably distracting him more than anything. But he was pretty good at fighting, so good that Cash barely tried to hit him anymore cuz he knew he could hit back. He was good for keeping Fizz safe from the creeps that tried to break into his dressing room. And he knew Fizz needed that.

Most of this work explores BlitzFizz as a "prologue" relationship before Fizz met Asmodeus, exploring personal headcanons on why Blitzø and Fizzarolli hated each other so much for 15 years despite being so close when they were younger.

“Good,” Fizz breathed. He flipped himself over so that his back was flush against Blitzø’s font. He ground his ass down teasingly against Blitzø’s crotch. “Now dance with me.”
