Summary
Simon has lived in the same Dutch village his whole life. He is twenty-four, gay, and has spent ten years carrying a desire he has never spoken aloud — the desire to be restrained, to surrender, to be held by hands that know what they are doing. When Theo moves in next door — a craftsman from Rotterdam, broad-shouldered and quietly observant, with a workshop full of furniture that should not exist outside Simon's fantasies — the door to a locked room inside Simon begins, slowly and with terrifying tenderness, to open.
A novella about bondage, healing, and the architecture of being seen. Five chapters. Explicit. No penetrative sex. Extended aftercare. Slow-burn first half, devastating cathartic third chapter, full play scene in the final chapter.

Summary
This patient was clearly more cooperative, as Dr. Bryant had hoped he would be. His chart marked him as a new involuntary acquisition, which was always a wild card, but he had surrendered himself to the intake facility at his appointed time after the foreclosure procedings had gone through, and he had been compliant with all instructions since then. Any non-compliance would have been written up by the orderlies, the same way Dr. Bryant would note any trouble the patient gave him during his initial exam.
"Good morning, Mr..." Dr. Bryant glanced at the patient's chart again to double-check the name, then set the clipboard on the desk to extend a hand. "Alex Martin, is it? I'm Dr. Bryant."
