Summary
Tim knew many things, many facts and figures, this allowed Tim to account for almost anything.
There were two facts Tim knew best:
Number One- Batman wouldn't come if he cried.
Number Two- Jason Todd was sat in front of him- wait, Jason?Tripped up on fear gas, Tim loses his role as Robin and isn't exactly sure what he was meant to do with his life now.
Back from the dead and angry, Jason breaks into Titans Tower with a half-baked plan to confront his replacement. But Robin's not there, it's just Tim. Tim Drake. Tim Drake delirious from fear gas.
Jason really hates playing babysitter. But if Batman isn't going to do it... well, Jason hears Europe is nice this time of year.

The first time it happened, Tim really was scared. The Red Hood was still an unknown— a crime lord that had come out of nowhere and started making waves in Gotham’s criminal underworld. Tim hadn’t known what to make of him and certainly didn’t think Hood had any good intentions when he kidnapped him.

So why, in the ever-loving FUCK, is he kneeling in a rundown warehouse, a tiny baby bird sobbing in his arms (Jesus he really can’t get over how small this kid is. Is he really 15? Looks barely 12. How could Alfred let this stand?), a corpse to his side with green hair and a bullet hole between the eyes, and greengreengreen slowly fading from his vision.
Fuck. All those plans are trash now. Goddamnit.
Or, despite trying to lay low, when the Red Hood hears word of Joker being out of Gotham with a baby bird in his clutches, he can't stop himself from stepping in.
'No More Dead Robins' after all.
Now, if only he could escape the new Robin's grip on his jacket before Batman or Nightwing arrived.
Jason is so fucked.

Pulling his legs to his chest, Tim slammed his fist onto the keyboard angrily, stifling a sob as tears flooded his eyes. Why wasn’t this working? Why was nothing working today? Tim gasped for air as he hugged his legs, trying earnestly not to break down and cry. He wasn’t a kid, for fuck’s sake. He was a Drake at that. Drakes didn’t cry.
“Baby Bird?”
In his emotional turmoil, Tim had somehow not heard Jason ride into the Cave on his bike. Useless. Why couldn’t he do better? He was supposed to be Robin!
For a second, he tried to tell Jason to go away. To leave him alone just like everybody else had in his life. Instead of that, a loud sob escaped his treacherous mouth. Not even his mouth liked him…
OR: Tim needs a hug and Jason gives him one
