This work is inspired by littleghostbatz’ work - four in some velvet morning - because it’s probably my favourite thing I’ve read on here so far and is beautifully written. I hope you enjoy my own work too ^^

“That’s way too thin Adam, you’re going to catch an awful chill” The blonde argued, lips parted in concern for the other man.
Adam groaned and threw his head back at his nagging, unable to admit to himself that he slightly adored his concern. “You know my outfit won’t match if I put one of your ugly sweaters on. I think I’ll take my chances” he rolled his eyes.
Lawrence rolled his back, knowing he’d probably end up nursing his roommate mate to health as per usual when he does something stupid. Adam didn’t want to admit it but he loved the fact his friend was a doctor, to observe how Lawrence used his hands, how his intellect came in clutch, how he always seemed to know exactly what to do…

Adam lives, Lawrence and him start their lives together in the hospital and after the events in the bathroom. A newly separated Lawrence offers his spare bedroom to Adam as they figure out their lives after the bathroom, and move forward together as a couple.

i'll be real with you guys: this is on an indefinite hiatus as of the date. i am sorry but i'd rather come back if i feel passionate about it again and leave it unfinished than post something mid just to have it checked off. thank you for reading/commenting/kudos. <3People don't seem to notice Adam. That, or they purposely ignore him. The job looked easy on paper; do some sweeping, empty trash, pretend that you're busy for a few hours and get paid more than he'd ever get from any of his minimum wage jobs. He took it with no hesitation.
It turns out being a janitor is the most exhausting job in the world. And he would have quit a long time ago if it wasn't for Lawrence.

“Gratitude?” Lawrence growls, trying to keep his voice down. “What exactly do I have to be grateful to you for? I lost my foot. My wife left me and took my daughter with her. I lost everything. What exactly did I gain from your sick little game?”
“Quite a lot, I would say.”
Kramer turns one of the photo frames on Lawrence’s desk towards him to examine it.
It’s a photo of Lawrence with Adam. He can’t remember where the photo was taken, possibly in the park, but it was somewhere outdoors in the winter judging by the coats and scarves they’re wearing. Adam had set up the timer on his camera to take a picture of them together, and the camera had flashed just as Lawrence had pressed a kiss to one of Adam’s rosy cheeks. Lawrence likes to look at Adam’s smile in this photo whenever he’s having a bad day.
He takes the frame from Kramer and places it face down on one side of the desk. He doesn’t want Kramer’s eyes on Adam in any shape or form. It feels like a violation.
OR
John Kramer pays a visit to Doctor Gordon to make him an offer.
