Summary
Several years ago, a postdoctoral student named Elizabeth found herself landing in Middle Earth, a place that she had read and watched many times before. Only, this Middle Earth was different- darker. The Last Alliance of Elves and Men never happened for the elves abandoned mankind by forming a secret truce with Sauron. Mankind eventually won the war at great cost and quickly turned on those who betrayed them, the elves. Now, all elves in Middle Earth are hunted, and those caught are enslaved.
In this strange and dark version of Middle Earth, Elizabeth found her way to Minas Tirith, became a heralded healer, and eventually her medical skills, knowledge of Middle Earth, and whits granted her the honorable position of Head Advisor to the King. For many years she has served Gondor well and fallen in love with this magical- if at times barbaric place. Yet, all this changes when an elf she recognizes shows up. Now, she finds herself navigating the dark waters of politics whilst trying to keep both her morality and responsibilities in tact.
What will happen when she finds herself the master of an elven slave she never wished to own?

Hazel's definition of reality had been thoroughly shifted by the time the eldest Feanorians, Glorfindel the Balrog Slayer, and the Fellowship of the Ring departed from her family's humble cabin. Now, she had books to read and college classes to return to, glad for the fun but perfectly happy in her normal life. But, when an old friend comes a-calling and terrible events send Hazel's world crashing down around her, adventure may come whether she wants it or not.
Soon she must push aside her own fear, grief, and self-doubt for the sake of those she has come to care for.

Calen travels across the world to New Zealand for a trip, but that didn't go as planned.

“Imladris?”“It is called Rivendall in common tongue, that name may be more familiar to you.”
Calen shook her head confused. “There is no Imladris or Rivendall in New Zealand. It’s fictional”
“New... New Zealand?”
“Yes. We are in New Zealand.” Calen replied frustrated. “New Zealand, on the planet earth.”
“My lady,” Glorfindel paused seeing Calen glare. “Insilnya, I am afraid you are mistaken, we are in Arda, two hours away from Imladris to the north and two days west of the misty mountains.”
Suddenly a thought hit her.
Was.. Was she in Middle earth? She was standing in an unfamiliar forest with a man that claimed to be Glorfindel.
The Glorfindel, Calen’s favorite character in Tolkien’s middle earth. It would explain the falling from a tree in her sleep and the strange atmosphere in this area.It would make more sense than she initially thought.
Could it be? If so, then how?

Summary
When Evelyn dreams of a mysterious blond stranger fighting a beast coming straight out of a horror movie, she thinks that she's going mad. But, when said dream becomes a reoccurring event she learns that it may hold more reality than she initially thought.
Soon, she finds herself thrust into a world of fiction and learns that not all is as it seems. The characters she thought she knew prove to be far darker than she imagined whilst her innocence and trust soon wear thin.
As she uncovers secrets about herself she again meets the mysterious stranger of her dreams and, with him at her mercy, she must decide if she can learn to trust once more. No matter what, her presence in Middle Earth is certain to change the fate of all the races.
