Sirius Black has been working at the Potter's Library for as long as he can remember; he grew up surrounded by books, surrounded by endless knowledge, and surrounded by college students that come and go from the campus next door.
He's become well acquainted with a few, even considers some his friends. But none have quite piqued his curiosity like the one boy with a scarred face that appeared during finals week and barely left his table, who doesn't look up at Sirius when he goes to attempts conversation, who, instead of thanking him for the cup of tea he'd gone out of his way to get, asks him if it's poisoned with a raised eyebrow.
