ABSOLUTE BEST LITERATURE EVER!!!
Out of all the literature I have read in my life… these are my number one!!! I re-read them multiple times if I don’t want to read something new and no matter what happens, if I move on from a fandom, it will always stay with me as my favorite piece of art.
These authors earned my full respect.

Wemmbu stayed kneeling at the base of the steps, blood trickling against his chin, breath shallow in his chest, as he stared at the black ink crossing through Highwater’s name while Steampunk City waited untouched beside it. His head swam with the thought of another sky, another crowd of people looking up at him with terror.
Somewhere far away, Egg was still alive. That was the chain around his throat.
And everyone in the room knew it.

In which Tommy Innes, son of Sam Innes, Avian extraordinaire, meets up with old friends (all of whom are traumatized) and drags his new family and friends through a galaxy of problems (okay, maybe HIS galaxy of problems, because he refuses to tell anyone anything unless his tooth is being yanked out) because of some Avian named Chroma that really really wants child soldiers.
