I don’t have super strength or speed, I'm not immortal and I certainly can't sense emotions.” Bruce said. “I have to trust that Clark won't snap my spine, that J'onn won't read my mind, I have to think ahead so that vampires can't outlast me, werewolves can't maul me and incubi won't use my emotions against me.”
Bruce sighed. “I'm human. That's the problem, not metas or supernaturals, just that.”

Summary
Dick Grayson didn't want to leave, but after dying, after the Spyral, after Bruce went too far and his family wouldn't even let him explain, he left anyway. He just wasn't able to stay.
Years later he was happy at While Collar as Neal Caffrey, or as happy as he could be without his family. His brothers, on the other hand, have learned exactly what happened to their oldest and have been searching since he left. Lucky for them, Tim has a meeting scheduled with Peter Burke. There might also a plan that involves hugs, brotherly backup, and a secret assassin-trained weapon.

Summary
As the door opened Tim quickly disabled another three separate electronic sensors in the doorjamb by swiping them with a device that looked a bit like a thumb drive. “Walk where I walk,” he said.
He took a big step over the doormat, eyed the floor carefully, then took a careful skipped sidestep to another mat against the right-hand wall, where he removed his shoes.
“What the hell?” whispered Jason, still standing in the open doorway.
Tim pointed up. There was a net rigged up on the ceiling. “Pressure pads under the carpet.”
“I repeat, what the hell?”
After Tim completely derails Jason’s beatdown attempt by asking him for a hug, Jason’s first priority is to get this touch-starved kid more cuddles. Tim’s first priority is to avoid Dick’s traps.
Jason learns a lot about his brothers and what happened while he was away, and something about himself too.

When Tim found out that Dick Grayson was a gymnastics instructor in Bludhaven, he quickly signed up. After all, learning gymnastics from The Nightwing himself is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Summary
When the Gotham vigilantes find a sick pup freezing in an alley, there is no question about bringing him home. Somewhat more surprising is the fact Nightwing manages to claim the kid before Batman has the chance. Regardless of details, though, they are going to give Tim all the love he could ever need and then some.
It's hard to say who is less prepared, Bruce for being a grandparent or Dick for being a parent, but they're both going to do their damn best for their Baby Bird.
