Dean Winchester is a hell of a hunter, but everyone knows he's a little standoffish, a little cold. Until the night a young, shaggy-haired stranger saves him from a demon attack, leaving behind nothing but an alias, a funny looking blade, and a lot of questions.
Sam knows the only way to save the people he loves is to stay far away from them. He knows in the other timeline he ruined everything. This new life that Gabriel created is so much better for everyone. Even if it means he can never be Sam Winchester, can never be Dean's brother.
As events and memories start to echo across to the new timeline, Sam has to face who he really is and Dean has to choose who he becomes.

"You possess a killer's eye, and no sane man would have all that metal embedded in your skin." The cosplayer went so far as to poke the stud underneath Sukuna's lip. A faux expression of fear appeared on the cosplayer's face. There were others, a stud on his nose and several piercings on both his ears. The bar on his left ear balanced the facial piercings by being on opposing sides.
As Sukuna recoiled, discerning eyes shifted to the mirrored birthmarks under his eyes. Many would consider them tattoos based on how clean their odd, flattened crescent look was. Nothing was said regarding them. The cosplayer's lips did tighten and curl, but within an instant, he was back to that friendly smile.
"This is certainly a new one. An intruder appeared from the depths of that puddle called a pond."
"I don't know what kind of roleplay you think this is, but I am not an assassin." Generally. Killing Curse Users for money, however, was not something he would turn down. "I did appear here on purpose."
❤ Gojo shoves Sukuna into a pond that led to another time and place...

The child—a little boy—looked awfully familiar. Swept back hair and two sets of eyes full of panic that felt out of place when compared to the curse he knew with more than one pair of eyes. Eyes that glowed a menacing crimson, never once appearing close to the waterlogged grays and silvers Yuji was witnessing now. But said curse possessed an additional four arms and the expected number of fingers to go along with them, a trait this child clearly shared… Weird.
It was almost as if Yuji was blankly staring at a smaller version of Sukuna.
“Kuna is… so small…” Yuji found his thoughts emptying from his mouth in an undignified slur. They matched his impulsive desire to remove his hand from his face and press it on the little boy’s head.
❤ Itadori Yuji is sent on a mission involving a curse user and a cursed object that can de-age those effected by it. The cursed spirit within the object escapes and through unfortunate circumstances, Yuji is hit, and to his complete surprise, he wasn't the one who the de-aging effect chose to target.

All of a sudden, an invisible blade cut through the air, the clouds, and even the stars themselves in one giant sweep to split the cursed finger in two just before it could ever pass through Itadori’s lips. An impossible feat. Such an object was said to be indestructible, as countless sorcerers over the last thousand years had all tested their blades— literal and metaphorical —against any finger that had been unearthed from the scattered set of twenty.
Not even Gojo could destroy those mummified fingers, and he was the strongest sorcerer of them all. So how was Fushiguro able to witness an impossible task be carried out before his eyes?
Crazier still was the array of strikes dicing the beast still grasping Itadori tight. The cursed spirit crumbled beneath him, and based on the baffled look in Itadori’s eyes, Fushiguro could only assume that none of this had been his doing. How could it? Itadori had no cursed energy, which meant that someone else must have—
“Must you always get yourself into trouble, brat?”
❤ Yuji was about to swallow a cursed mummified finger... until he didn't.

A moment of silence as the whole world froze for the longest minute of Yuta’s life.
Itadori then blinked, causing Yuta to do the same as the air became awkward to navigate. Yuta thought he may have to repeat himself, but before mustering up the courage to say those words again, Itadori was hacking soda out of his lungs. The first-year reached for his nose, now burning from the liquid that spewed out. The entire display caused his eyes to water and for Yuta to run over to see if Yuji was alright to keep standing lest he passed out in his upperclassman’s arms.
The question wasn’t meant to kill him!
❤ Yuta returns to Jujutsu Tech only to overhear the strangest things.
