When Hermione is invited to Ginny and Harry's wedding in Godric's Hollow, she decides to take her father's old car and drive all the way there from Hogsmeade because she really, really hates flying. Hermione ignores Harry's warnings about the long journey through the Azkaban desert and ends up stranded in the scorching heat. Luckily for her a gorgeous mechanic comes to the rescue and tows her to the quiet, small town called Spinner's End. When Hermione learns she will have to stay a few days before her car gets fixed, she isn't too upset seeing as she gets to spend those days in Bellatrix's company.

But her supervisor Andromeda Tonks suggests an alternative - that Hermione take a part-time job with her sister, who runs a 'small clothes shop' and who also happens to be designing the costumes for a new theatre production of the play Medea, which is one of Hermione's topics for her thesis.

Before he leaves, he has one month to find and train his replacement...Andrea Sachs, recently from Vogue. Andrea is older (35), married to Nate who is a stay-at-home dad to their four year old daughter. I also took the liberty of ‘cherry picking’ scenes/dialogue from the movie for this fanfic disregarding chronology.
