Wrong timeline, wrong universe.
If there is one law common to all worlds that ever existed, it is that the multiverse is indifferent to puny humans who cross boundaries never meant to be transgressed.
Kathryn Janeway learns that lesson the hard way when she finds herself centuries in the past in a world with stargates and no way back to Voyager. Sam Carter is there to help though, and together they will try to save two universes from colliding. Along the way, there will be sacrifices to be made and insights to follow.

A Priori - translation: From before
The last couple of years had not been good for Jack O’Neill. Not quite as bad as when Charlie had died, but certainly up there with it. Daniel died and ascended; Ba’al killed him, over and over again; and then he was accused of trying to assassinate Kinsey, the fucker. If Jack had wanted Kinsey dead, he’d be dead, no messing about with ‘trying’ at all. Finally, Anubis threatened to destroy Earth and Jack had to stick his head in an Ancient head-grabber thingy - again. There had to be an easier way of earning a living.
