When he steps outside, squinting against the sun just past the horizon, Shanks is already looking up, tilting his hat to shade his eyes. There's a black dot in the paling sky, rapidly growing, and now that Benn's outside he can hear what Shanks meant, too- there's a faint sound that might be shouting and might be laughter.
Benn squints. "That's not a person, is it?"
"Can't be," Shanks says, then pauses. "In the Grand Line, maybe, but that sort of thing doesn't happen in the East Blue."
"Not reassuring, Captain," Benn says dryly.
(Or: Some eleven months into the Red-Hair Pirates' stay on sleepy little nowhere Dawn Island, the sun falls out of the sky.)

Summary
Monkey D. Luffy had accomplished his dream and became The Pirate King. He had reached Laugh Tale and found the One Piece.
But was it worth it?
He had loved travelling on the Sunny with his nakama!
But now they were gone.
So when Gol D. Roger, The Former Pirate King, appeared and told him that the One Piece could give him anything he wanted, Luffy knew what he wanted to do.

Summary
The Jikan Jikan no Mi was a fruit capable not of pushing someone through time, but of pushing time through a person. A person's future self is brought to the present and, afterwards, time snaps back to bring their younger self forward. When Luffy collapses at Marineford, its holder comes forward and offers to use her powers rather than let him have a second hormone injection from Iva. The power is not without its risks, but Luffy does not hesitate to accept. If he had a chance to be stronger—or to bring a stronger him in his place, even temporarily—then he would take it.
He would do anything to save Ace.
