“Perhaps,” Namjoon murmurs, fingers continuing to map the length of his throat, the touch soft. “But I have no intention of causing you harm.” A beat of silence, before his mouth curves into a wicked smirk. “Unless you ask me to, of course.”

It’s not always like this, the give and take of power, with them. It’s mostly only when he needs it. Sometimes when they do, but mostly Jungkook is a bundle of nerves and hyperactive senses most days. It’s wonderful, the quiet space they make for him. The silence they help him slip into.

Taehyung is a little tipsy and probably babbling, and he hates beer but Yoongi is roasting meat and he chose the beer that would fit it best or something. But right now Taehyung is a little tipsy and complaining to his friends about Hoseok and Seokjin, about how ridiculously handsome they were and how Taehyung can't get them out of his head.
"Taehyung-ah, don't be a homewrecker," Yoongi says playfully.
"If I wanted to be a homewrecker, hyung, I would take Jiminie from you."
