The reflection of the projector’s light bouncing off the mirrored glass was plenty for him to finish his notes by, and he’d switch it back to a bright, sun-filled conference room after a few minutes more.
Then he heard a click at the door.
Tim snapped his head up to look. It was locked.
Fuck.
He was standing in an instant, reaching for a weapon, when he felt a wave of cold wash over him. A solid form pressed against his back and curled around him tightly. Lips pressed to his neck, which set his nerves alight, but it was the mumbled voice against his skin that set him at ease.
“Hey babe,” Danny hummed, nuzzling into him, apparently still invisible despite the very real feeling of him curled around Tim.

Tim's former disgruntled employee kidnaps his boyfriend and buries him alive- which would be bad if Danny actually needed to breathe. Given that no one in Gotham knows Danny's a ghost, and he'd like to keep it that way, he's stuck in a coffin until they rescue him.
