This fic is a variant of a coffeeshop AU. Daichi Sawamura is a businessman and has to take frequent trips in and out of the country. His life is a constant in and out of airports and traveling. One day, while waiting for a delayed flight, he walks by an airport bar in Tokyo and sees a volleyball game on TV. This catches his attention, since baseball is more popular in Japan. So he sits down to get a beer and is served by none other than bartender Sugawara Koushi. Over time they grow close as Daichi keeps stopping by to talk volleyball with Suga.

The pain was making it hard to concentrate during class, making it hard to think at all, and that plus the boy’s overenthusiastic emotions were putting Kageyama in a particularly sour mood, so he really couldn’t be blamed when he snapped something sarcastic at the teacher and got detention in response.
