“What the actual hell are you doing?!” Grian says, exasperated as he watches one of the villains cut a borderline hole in his own arm. Blood flows from the wound while the Bamboozlers just stands there and waits for Grian to force him onto the medical bed, laying out gauze and bandages.
“I’m testing you.” The villain finally replies.
Grian, who is way to stressed to even give a damn, his houghts circle around how much shit he’ll be if he let one of his kidnappers bleed out because of him, then he’ll for sure be six feet under before he’s pleaded his case. “You could’ve waited for when you got hurt not on purpose?” His voice strained yet less now that he realizes just how calm this man is.
“I’m too impatient for that.”

Have you ever been hit by a glowy ray thing that came from a demon? God? Dude you don’t know but had been fighting while looking into the eyes of the man you love and thinking ‘oh no im gonna die!’ Only to then wake up in another world with strangers all gawking at you like your some ancient artifact and been like what the absolute fuck is this. Freaking out trying to fight said strangers because they are well strangers. Being over powered and then getting interrogated explaining who you are how you got here blah blah blah.
Then! And get this, finding out that you have no idea how to get home and the new people who have decided to befriend you for some strange reason also have no idea how to get you home, so now your just stuck in another dimension and realize that you can't feel the man you love because apparently soul necklaces are limited to being in the same world with the one with you love and now you don't know what to do, or who you are anymore so you just cry yourself to sleep at night and hope you get magically teleported back to your husband because what else are you supposed to do now.
No?
Well that's exactly what happened to Jimmy five months ago.
