Summary
Optimus Prime is killed in a terrorist attack that brings the city of Nyon - and the rest of Cybertron forthwith - crumbling down. The Lord High Protector is left struggling to keep their society from spiraling while also hunting down the ones responsible for the death of their Prime - and his Conjux Endura.
Not only that, but he also has to deal with the new baby Prime, who seems to be struggling with his new role, and the weight he now carries on his shoulders. Hot Rod - now Rodimus Prime - didn't truly know what accepting the Matrix would entail, and with the dead former Prime talking in his head, he thinks surely this should be easy... right?

Summary
My own Transformers AU where a highly dangerous Decepticon (Cobalt) crash lands on Earth and befriends a couple of human children (Kit and Dominique). A team of Autobots arrive trying to recapture their escaped prisoner, and not long after the Decepticons join in on the action. Cobalt's search for a peaceful post-war life keeps getting sidelined his fight for basic survival and keeping his human friends safe from the ongoing conflict between Autobots and Decepticons.

Summary
