Lighter angles the camera carefully, making sure the light falls on his pecs just right, revealing the planes of abs clearly visible under his tight black t-shirt. The front of his shirt practically stretches across his chest, leaving nothing to the imagination.
He pauses for a moment, evaluating the shot before deciding to include a little bit of his bicep in it. Flexing ever so slightly so that the prominent veins along his arm bulge out even more. The light glints off the droplets of water on his neck from his recent shower, and beads onto the ends of his hair, with the lower part of his chiseled jawline exposed in the shot.
All in all, it’s a good photo. But Lighter doesn’t know if it would be enough to capture his attention.

Lighter is so indulgent, Wise began considering the possibility of the man being into him. Even if it seemed like such a funny idea at first, considering how Lighter didn’t have a dearth of dating options, it was difficult not to look too deeply when Wise was often on the receiving end of such sweetness.
But those thoughts had only been intended to be a silly bit of entertainment for himself. Nothing to take seriously, and certainly nothing to presume as true in any way whatsoever.
Then Lighter starts doing things.
Lighter is doing his very best to court Wise. Wise is very gradually figuring this out.

Summary
To Lighter, Wise is a lake, serene on the surface yet containing fascinating things beneath the still water. Below the calm ripples of the blue expanse is something distinctly alive, brimming with a sentience that threatens to consume him whole. He thinks of Wise’s skin as a glinting oasis in the tough sun of the outer ring. At the same time, Wise’s eyes are the incoming storm, incandescent the way thunder lights up the clouds. And Lighter is the unfortunate soul (or fortunate soul) to chase after the mirage, to get caught in its rainfall.
It does not matter that Wise is a beta.

Beyond him was an overlook of the city, in blinding lights that glimmer as far as the eye can see, shrouded in the cover of night and full moon.
When he sees Wise, he shoots a handsome smirk at him with a casual approach, presenting him a red rose with an indirect kiss between blooming petals.
“See you again, beautiful.” The masked stranger bids him.
Wise held the rose in his hands, watching the mysterious figure head back over to the railings and jump off with a twist of his body, saluting him with that same handsome smirk.
