A few things for this series if anyone is interested!
This version of the Puffs and the Ruffs are inspired by @leecheedoodles and @nadaboodraws.

Not everything is based on their comics but they have inspired me and the comics they made are so cute that I hope if I write stories based on them that I do them justice.
Another thing about this series is that the Ruffs have turned good now they still enjoy causing trouble but they help the Puffs save the day now. The Mayor does pay them for their services because as they got older the monsters and crimes got more dangerous. They do get paid well for their services which help them with college expenses and with bills.
In this series, they are all college-aged.
The Puffs still live with the Professor they help play with house expenses not because the Professor wants them to but because they feel it's the right thing to do. The Ruffs are in a Fraternities with some of their friends so they live on campus.
The Ruffs still keep in contact with their Dads; HIM and MoJo in fact they have dinner with them at least twice a week. They eat dinner with HIM one day and they eat dinner with MoJo the other.
HIM and MoJo still dislike one another and they only agreed to co-parent the boys because the only thing they have in common is their love for their sons and causing crime. They do have a begrudging respect for one another though. Once the boys were in high school things got a little easier when HIM and MoJo happily went back to their own places and the boys started staying with them each one week at a time. The only time any of them are all together in the same place is during the Holidays.
Yes, the boys did go to school because MoJo made them go and HIM had to agree that it was what was best for the boys.
Now The Professor, MoJo, and HIM weren't too happy when the Ruffs joined the Puffs in being heroes. The Professor because he was worried that it was all some kind of trick to hurt his daughter and MoJo and HIM because they want their sons to be evil like them. As time went by they all got used to it each of them just wanting their kids to be happy.
Bubbles and Boomer are together, they are crazy for one another and they got together in high school a year after the Ruffs joined the Puffs in being heroes.
Buttercup and Butch do like one another in fact they both are in love with one another but both a worried about ruining the epic friendship they've had since they became apart of the same team.
Finally, there's Blossom and Brick who are head over heels for one another but neither one of them knows what to do about it because both of them are dorks.
Because Bubbles and Boomer are the only two that have their lives together lol.
I know that's a lot to take in lol. I'm sorry I just kept rambling on and on I just felt like there was a lot that needed to be explained. I'm not even sure if anyone is going to read this but if you do thank you so much for bearing with my ramblings.
