Shang Qinghua hated this. He hated feeling like this but the pain and deep rooted hurt was all he had been able to feel at all besides the harsh numbness.
He thanked his past self for unfollowing and muting Shen Yuan on all social media, he kept all the chats to read through for bittersweet nostalgia (more like pain parties, he could only look at their past affections and picture it all being extremely fake and forced).

He definitely shouldn’t be able to feel the warmth of a blanket wrapped tightly around him
Or; One failed suicide attempt later, Shang Qinghua is left having to rebuild his life and learn how to live again.

He faltered, pressing his lips together in a thin line as he stared helplessly at Shen Yuan, looking at Liu Qingge as if he could solve all his problems. He hadn’t even told Liu Qingge about this! Shang Qinghua expected to never hear of or see Shen Yuan again, let alone consider the fact that he would show up at his door!
Or; a conversation that happens perhaps far too late, but certainly well needed.
