This is an alternate timeline from the Sword and Shield games, where Gloria, the ex-champion of the Alola region, moved to Galar with her mother to flee from an insane scientist known as Professor Flanders. Because Gloria was blessed by the wish of a Jirachi when she was conceived, there were unique circumstances about her body that inclined Flanders to conduct his research on her; and it eventually got intense enough where she and her mother decided to go into hiding.
The majority of the one shots describe Gloria's flowering relationship with Bede outside of the conflict with Flanders. They flesh out all of the nuances of their complicated enemies-to-lovers relationship, as well as feature lots of endearing, heart-fluttering moments between the two of them. In the main fic, Gloria has to address a difficult situation where Hop and Bede are both competing for her attention, all while Flanders is in the midst of tracking her down again.

Notes:

Note for the Confused Reader:
The series timeline is a little complicated, organized from "most recent events" to "least recent". "Jirachi's Twin" at the top is the most recent, while "Consider a Friend" at the bottom would take place right after where the video game ends. It is recommended to read "Jirachi's Twin" first, followed by "Consider a Friend" in upwards order ("Memories of Home" is a good entry, but it's an unfinished work so it's not necessary). Sorry in advance for any confusion, I was like 17 when I created all of this lol.
