Summary
“You have to be more careful,” Beomgyu continues, his arm coming out to take a gentle hold of the lapel on Taehyun’s suit. Since it’s black, the bloodstains are barely noticeable. Beomgyu noticed though, he noticed right away.
“I was being careful. It was Kai’s fault anyway,” Taehyun grumbles back. He sort of wants to just fall forward and let his head crash into Beomgyu’s chest. Maybe the fall would take both of them out, and then he wouldn’t be here, soaked in blood, hurting all over, having to hear Beomgyu lecture him about safety.

“Don’t leave my side tonight, okay?” Beomgyu instructs, picking a piece of dust off of Taehyun's shoulder. Taehyun nods again.
He starts counting down the number of minutes before they’re back in the hotel room. Just the two of them.

“I just want to make sure you’re with me. Right?” Beomgyu asks, his voice low. Taehyun wonders if the cab driver can hear them. The soft lyrical music playing out of the radio is nice.
“Right, hyung. Always with you.” Taehyun nudges Kai off of him until the other man leans over to the other side and rests his head on the car window. Now it’s Taehyun’s turn to snuggle down, nestling into Beomgyu’s side. “Only with you,” he mumbles into Beomgyu’s arm.

“Do you not trust me?” Taehyun asks, his voice barely audible.
Beomgyu shakes his head immediately. “No, that’s not it. I just have to be sure. Because if somebody fucked up, and if it’s you…” Beomgyu trails off. Taehyun doesn’t miss the fact that Beomgyu’s eyes keep flicking down to his lips.
“If it’s me…” Taehyun says, “Then what?” he pushes.

“I needed a change, I think,” Beomgyu says absentmindedly, running a hand through his hair. His fingers knock against Taehyun’s and instead of pulling away, Taehyun grabs his hand and threads Beomgyu’s fingers through his.
