Summary
There’s been a good deal of tension between Jim and Izzy in the weeks following that encounter. Izzy gives Jim their space, and Jim doesn’t tie him up or kill him.
Until Blackbeard came back. He and Izzy stranded most of the crew of The Revenge on an island, and it was only them and Frenchie. Izzy knew retribution was coming from Jim, just as much as he knew he would endure whatever it was for the sake of his Captain.

Jim sets their jaw, and Izzy watches them try and decide whether or not to say anything. They clear their throat. “I do, actually. What exactly did he tell you?”

Summary
Blackbeard walks him out onto the main deck, and Izzy’s fear grows with every step on his hands and knees he takes forward. He’s completely exposed, unclothed except for the dog collar around his throat, and being led to a public area. Blackbeard calls for the rest of the crew to come to the deck, and stands in front of them as they gather.
“This is now the ship’s dog,” Blackbeard says to the crewmates. “It’ll still relay my orders, but when you’re not doing anything, do whatever you want to it. It’s free to use, anywhere and in whatever way.”

Summary
Izzy manages to get back below deck without running into anyone. His luck doesn’t last.
Jim and Frenchie stand outside his door, talking quietly. Izzy freezes in the hallway. He wonders if he can back up, get away without being seen. He can find somewhere else to sleep. When he takes a step back, the floorboard creaks, and two sets of eyes turn to him.
“Shit,” he mumbles under his breath.
