Wilbur kept showing up. Nearly every day, he’d bother Quackity, asking more stupid questions and not getting any answers. Quackity had begun to realize it was because he wanted something. There could be no other reason. Whether it was sex or something else had yet to make itself clear.
Quackity was certain—nearly certain—that it wasn’t just because he liked Quackity’s company. They despised each other too much for that. They had said too many things that couldn’t be taken back. They had too much history that couldn’t be overwritten.
Quackity was much too Quackity for Wilbur Soot to enjoy his presence.
