Summary
“Now,” Lucius claps his hands together. “I’m sure you’re wondering why we’ve called you here today.”
The twelve of them are gathered in the living room, the ten kids sitting across from their fathers, their expressions varying in degrees of interest. Always one for theatrics, Lucius stands in front of his siblings with a notebook and pen in hand, taking on the role of their spokesperson.
“We’ve all been talking.” Lucius explains, spinning his pink feathery pen with a flourish. “And we think it’s time we got a pet.”
“Oh God.” Ed groans

Summary
Jim liked the idea of swimming. There was a lovely pond, in a clearing in the woods by the house, that they'd tried to jump into on multiple occasions. Olu always held them back, always taking on the role of their impulse control. There was one exception, when they'd managed to hurl themselves into the water when Olu wasn't looking, and Olu all but dragged them home, soaking wet and laughing the whole time at Olu's amused exasperation.
Now though, they were starting to second guess things.
