Uki hums, watching as Fulgur sets out all of the food for the afternoon.The way he unpacks and organizes everything is so precise. Containers of meat, cheese, and sliced fruits are laid out artfully on the large, wooden cutting board they use for charcuterie at home. Tea sandwiches are set off to the side on a plate, and Fulgur pulls out a covered chocolate cake lined with strawberries. The label on the plastic packaging bears the name of one of Uki’s favorite local bakeries.
