The Corinthian, very firmly, keeps his mouth shut, since he was so very sure and firm and clear the first time and need neither repeat himself nor elaborate.
Because for god's sake, he's been through so much. He's been made and ordered and sent and summoned and ignored and scolded and punished and very nearly uncreated, and there's no way in hell he's going to be banished to Darkness just because Dream, all of a sudden,
Has furry black ears.
And a fluffy tail.
Or, the time the Corinthian innocently-not-innocently suggests Dream attend a Halloween party, and Dream innocently-even-more-not-innocently accepts.
The Fiddler’s Green doesn’t get it, but Matthew, thank fuck, does.
