Summary
Lucifer was cut off by a loud splash and the feeling of water covering his back, where he stood facing Simeon and the boat. Startled, he whirled around; off the cliff that rose up the shore a few yards away, a large swing rocked back and forth, and the water beside the dock rippled, settling and then bursting again as somebody breached the surface again.
Satan stared at him, before breaking into laughter hard enough he had to hold onto the dock’s edge to keep himself afloat as Lucifer owlishly stared back.
It was a minute before Satan calmed down, Simeon chuckling a bit as well, and then he spoke.
“Sorry- sorry, dad, I didn’t realize you were there.”
Lucifer raised an eyebrow, finally breaking from his stupor. Satan bit his lip, laughing a bit more.
“You sure you didn’t?”

MC is not a human. They're an avian, born on Gaea, the fourth realm; one that's hidden from those who don't know about it. It's just their luck they end up on Earth, pretending to be a human, at the same time Diavolo is launching the exchange program.

Summary
Oh. He remembered now. Diavolo had torn off his right arm and left leg. He felt the tearing of muscles, tendons, ligaments. Nerves and veins. He felt the crack of bone, the way it echoed through his body, reminiscent of his Lord’s wrath. He watched the blood flow and saw the limbs fly.
His healing was in no way up to par with such injury. Even if he was at full capacity, not brought down by injections made to infringe his healing, he would not have recovered both limbs entirely. . .

Barbatos is, always has been, a toy to the royal family. An experiment, servant, plaything, a source of entertainment along with a useful tool. Diavolo might be the worst lord he's served, but he's making it through, until Mammon is drawn into it as well.
He really shouldn't be spending time with him, but.. he's falling in love. Maybe it's finally time for a change. Mammon is worth taking that step.
