Summary
5 Years had passed since the snap had changed everything for Peter, Tony, and the world. It was a blip that had altered Peter’s reality in fundamental ways that he doesn’t want to think about. He’d come back to life in a world where May had died, and Tony had grown much softer since he’d become a father to Morgan… since he’d lost Peter and invented time travel to bring him back. 6 Months after Thanos is defeated, Peter has just begun putting the pieces of his life back together again. He’s been adopted by Tony and Pepper, is enjoying life in Stark Tower with his family, and is hoping the CEO Emergency Transfer Protocol never ever has to be put into place. Things are finally starting to look up, despite that there’s a field trip scheduled to Stark Industries… a field trip Peter really doesn’t want to go on.

Everything Peter has been worrying about comes to pass during the field trip to Stark Industries, and then some. Why Tony and Pepper had ever thought that Peter should be put in charge of the company during an emergency if they couldn’t be found was beyond him.

Summary
Tony and Pepper were gone. This would be Peter’s third time losing his family and having to start over, but it was Morgan’s first. They’d left it in their will that Rhodey or Happy would have custody of Morgan if anything ever happened to them, but Rhodey had been on the plane with Tony and Pepper, and for whatever reason the state wasn’t satisfied with Happy taking custody of Morgan. Peter was only 16… he would survive in foster care if he had to, but there was no way he was letting the daughter of Tony and Pepper Stark grow up there. He owed Tony too much to let that happen.

Tony and Pepper are missing though everyone thinks they’re dead. Peter makes a drastic decision, one that freaks him out and means he’s giving up his future. The only thing that matters now is protecting Morgan, and Peter will do whatever he has to to see that through. Peter is trying to be the best big brother he can be. Has a happy ending, I promise!

After the blip, Peter is starting to realize just how lucky he is… because it’s no longer just Mr. Stark. Now he has a daughter, and a wife, and he could choose to just forget about Peter… leave him to his own devices, but the Starks seem intent on including Peter in activities like fall photos, trips to the pumpkin patch, and movie nights at their cabin. He's upset about his family, but also can't believe his luck when the social worker tells him he's going to be fostered by none other than Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. But then he gets up to the penthouse and is confused as hell to find Peter Parker there.

Flash can’t figure out what Parker’s deal is. He doesn’t understand why Peter has a bedroom in Tony Stark’s house, or why he is there every weekend, or why he gets to spend time in Tony’s lab, but Flash doesn’t. Flash isn’t a bad guy, even if he is sometimes a jerk. He learns that perfection doesn’t equal love, but sometimes imperfection is what makes a family whole. This is an Iron Dad fic through and through, but in an outsider POV format as Flash is discovering what's going on.

Summary
Happy hurries into the penthouse and finds Tony, Pepper, and Peter standing in the kitchen, Tony aiming his repulser at Peter. “Tony! What are you doing?”
"Intruder. Had my back turned making coffee and I turned around and he was just sitting there."
“That’s not an intruder, it’s Peter. What’s wrong with you? Lower that thing before somebody gets hurt.”
“I’ve never seen this kid before. How'd he slip past security?"
"This is Peter Parker Stark, your son. You adopted him."
“I adopted some random kid?”
Peter’s breath hitches and his shoulders fall. He wants to press his face into Happy’s back and cry. “Not some random kid,” Happy says, voice hard. “Your kid. Peter.”

Tony spent five years mourning Peter after he'd been snapped. He'd invented time travel to bring him back, almost died, had risked everything for him. When Peter is snapped back to life, he can't believe that the Starks actually want him to be part of their family. He spends six months doubting it. He's finally starting to believe that they want and love him when he wakes up one morning and comes out of his room to find that Tony and Pepper don't remember him at all, even though everyone else does.
