Over the next week Hyunjin thinks, and thinks, and thinks, but he doesn’t figure out anything. After days of nothing but research and thinking, he concludes that he can’t figure it out without including Felix. But he can’t just ask Felix, ‘Hey, are you a vampire?’
Hyunjin is only certain of one thing; he is completely losing his mind. Vampires are not real, and he must be insane for even thinking of the possibility. It is fantasy, stories born from fear and made up to explain things people couldn’t make sense of hundreds of years ago.Series

“Felix? What’s wrong?” Hyunjin asks, on the edge of frantic. Felix’s face is screwed up in pain and he’s unable to lie still, his arms clutching his stomach.
“Burns-” Felix whines, voice scratchy as he breaks off in another moan.
“Where?” Hyunjin asks, but he only gets a whine in response. Felix is clutching his stomach, arms wrapped around it and pushing into it. “Is it your stomach?” He asks, desperate to find out what’s going on.
“Everywhere.” Felix gasps out, his wide eyes looking up at Hyunjin, begging for help.--

Summary
“Does this have anything to do with your man at home?” Chan asks softly, leaning forward on his chair.
“It has everything to do with him.” Hyunjin says. “I’ve never seen him so… It’s like the lights have gone out. He isn’t the sunshine we all know and love right now. And I guess I should have prepared for this to happen, because he loves being outside, nature, sunlight, warmth, life. That hasn’t changed, and without it…” He trails off, scared of voicing his true thoughts.
“He’s depressed.” Chan fills in for him.
“I don’t know what to do. I have tried to get him as close to the sun as I safely can, but he just cries. He can’t even see the sun through the window or peeking out of the curtains without breaking.”
“I wondered if this would happen.” Chan says thoughtfully.
“Of course you did, you think of everything. Meanwhile I was entirely unprepared.”---
