Momo yelped from where she had been in the pool, coughing out the water she had swallowed when the wave submerged her. Nitta let out a stream of bubbles from wherever he had been underwater, quickly moving to the sidelines to avoid whatever happened next.
Mai looked down at her now ruined drink with a bitterly exhausted expression.

He turns over onto his stomach to drag his hands down his face in dramatic agony. Nanami gives him a look, setting down his book to scoot back and peer at Yu better, only to immediately avert his eyes after taking in Yu’s shirtless state.

“Bwah bwah bwaaaaaah!” Mahito continues making trumpet noises, oblivious to Jogos steadily building irritation.
“Blbb blb blbb pbt pbt,” Is Dagons contribution to the cacophony assaulting Jogo. It’s some sort of mix between sad beat-boxing and blowing bubbles. Jogo is not particularly impressed.
Hanami isn’t imitating an instrument, but they are humming at a volume Jogo hadn’t know was possible, which is about the same level.
He doesn’t know where Geto went. Jogo wishes he had also gotten out of here before it had derailed to this point.

The sunshine playfulness of her brothers is loud outside, bare feet slapping against wood and squeaking shouts of anger as Jiang Cheng chases Wei Wuxian down a pathway. Jiang Yanli can’t quite make the words out, but mirth rises into a smile on her face none the less.
Her mother, sat across from her, looks up to the sky as if asking above for patience. Jiang Yanli ducks her head, ineffectively hiding her grin, and reaches across the table to grab a peach slice.

Jiang Wanyin fixes him with a steady look, then dismisses his disciple and gestures for Song Lan to follow him inside. Song Lan can appreciate the lack of ceremony, he supposes, even if it turns out to be driven by a lack of respect.
“What brings you to our sect, Song Zichen?” He asks as they walk. Song Lan turns his words over in his head, resting heavy on his tongue.
“I’m in need of assistance.” He starts. “I am looking to reunite with a companion of mine, and have found no luck in finding him on my own.” It grates to admit.

But the one Trey would like the most.. is if he could spend more time with Riddle and Che’nya together. Maybe its the nostalgia of childhood speaking, but he misses it. Showing Riddle the best ways to play, teaming up with Che’nya to sneak into a little light-hearted trouble.. There’s a lot to miss.

As Epel's considering, she hears the sound of a motorcycle engine getting closer, and looks up from her menu and out the window to try and catch glimpse of Deuce. In the dark, it's hard to tell, but Epel thinks she sees a glint of metal and her helmet.
As she pulls into the parking lot, Deuce comes into the light and into a park. She looks good, if tired, as she pulls the helmet off. Epel'll never get tired of watching her tighten her ponytail back up, hair falling over her shoulder as she settles off her bike.
