Alucard had been urging his father to appear on the show for months, arguing that it would improve Dracul’s image among the modern populace. A new kind of power, built on subtle control through charisma and popularity. He could get people on his side willingly, it would be a different form of dominion—one that required much less bloodshed and confrontation.
